10.5 iTunes tags error

White MB 2GHz 2GB RAM, iPod G1 10 GB and Classic 160GB
I'm using WWDC 2007 leopard. Upon changing song tags (both under "get info" and clicking on the name) iTunes freezes and locks my computer, forcing me to restart. What happened? This is an "all of a sudden" matter.
