I wonder if anyone else noticed this...the popping problem I and many others experienced on macbooks after the 10.4.10 update seemingly went away after the update sent shortly after, but I just noticed that if I unplug the AC power, then replug in after using it from the battery for a short while, the pops are in full effect just like they were when the problem first started until I restart again. Weird?

Have you checked System Preferences>Accounts>Startup to see if there's a program launching during booting?
