Sorry Denis, but I missed your post on what the spec was. I found the way to stop Dropbox opening Patrick and that's now out of the way. Ta for your help. This morning in my usual stupor I was getting you mixed up with Harry, hence the 'you down there' bit. I am at the point where I'm not sure which way is up at the moment. Still, it will come back to me, but it's very difficult trying to walk when you are lying down :o:o I think (not very often!) that I have cured the mouse left click problem. It seemed to be associated with the bluetooth mouse. I remembered just where our USB mouse was. So that connected I turned bluetooth off and back on again. That seems to have sorted the problem. We have both a Logicom mouse and a Apple Magic mouse. I tend to use the Magic jobbie for scrolling, left handed, and the Logicom for clicking. I have used 2 mouses/mice for as long as I can remember with no problems, so that isn't the cause me-thinks? I have to admit that I was at the point where I was thinking of a system erase and reload! Not what we want or need at the moment, so I'm chuffed to bits with the result. When i awakened the iMac to do this a few minutes ago I came to in just a couple of seconds. So I will watch it, but I wonder if it was Dropbox?
