Well, at least I am not alone in this? But, now something else had happened. We have been out all day with the iMac asleep. On return home it took a while to awake and then stuck the proverbial 2 fingers in the air! Now, the bluetooth mouse we have will move the cursor, scroll the mailboxes in Mail, but will not react to any click. We also have a Magic Mouse on bluetooth on the same machine. I use that left handed. for lots, like scrolling as it is much better. It will select the drop down from the Apple, top right, logo, but will not click on any selection anywhere on the screen. The Apple drop down stayes dropped down aand the only way to get any response is to press the power button until the thing powers of completely. so far I have done this 3 times with the same result. I have just tried the power button kill and reboot and then, when everything is up again, 4th time, I wondered what a right click on the Apple and then the sleep on the drop down. It went to sleep. BUT when I tried a right click, after waking it, on any of the open programmes, nothing! I am now totally confused and going to get my dinner!
