    Will this replacement battery work?

I need to get a replacement battery for my old MacBook Pro 13-Inch "Core i7" 2.7 Early 2011. On NewEgg, I see one for the same Mac, but it's iCore i7 2.8, not 2.7. Is this ok? Will it still work? Thanks.

    Optimised Battery Charging

Obviously I'm a little bored. I was curious about the notification I was receiving on my new iPhone SE. It says, "To reduce battery ageing, iPhone learns from your daily charging routine so it can wait to finish charging past 80% until you need to use it." Initially that just made no sense to...

    iPhone 7 rapid battery drain

I had a new Apple battery installed in my iPhone 7 (running iOS 13.3.1 now) in December last year which allowed me, with normal use to simply charge daily instead of twice daily as had been the situation for some months. Battery health prior to the change showing as 86%. Now Battery Health...

Yesterday my screen suddenly locked. When I press the control button the option to enter my password appears but when I tap the screen nothing happens. I tried to turn it off but moving the slider didn't work. I am trying to run the battery right down to see if it works when I recharge it but...

    iphone 4S battery problem.

My wife has an iphone 4S that I bought new from apple for a present... I know, I'm so generous. The battery was discharging pretty quickly so I thought it's time for a new one. I got one from ifixit Australia and installed it. All simple enough. Wi fi is turned on and that's about it. She does...

    MacBook Pro Replace Battery

I have a MacBook Pro, Early 2011, 15 inch, 2.2 Ghz, Intel Core i7. The original battery has died, and needs to be replaced. Two questions: 1) Looking at Amazon, BestBuy, etc, it seems that many replacement batteries get lousy reviews. So, I would be extremely grateful for any thoughts about good...

Mid 201 MBP 13 battery cycle count?

I replaced the battery in my MBP 13 mid 2010 machine in 2015. It has started to show signs of lack of capacity and overnight in sleep mode drops to around 30 to 40%. It then charges up to 99% within an hour or so and doesn't reach 100% for an age, not sure how long? I have had a look at the...

Macbook air 13" Mid 2013. This laptop has had 925 charges/cycles. I used it last night and left it at about 50% battery. I used it this morning and tried to charge it at 6%. I plugged in the mag charger as usual and zilch. No light, nothing. Before I rush out... send off for a new charger, can...

My iPad no longer displays percentages of battery used by various apps. I have tried force rebooting the iPad, but that didn't fix anything. The first screenshot is my iPad, the second is my iPhone which I have uploaded just to show what I'm talking about. Any ideas? . .

Mail App heavy battery usage overnight

Since IOS 12 update my iPhone and iPads and those of my wife have suffered amazing battery loss overnight when nothing is running. Typically 100% charged before we retire for the night, 45-50% charge left in the morning. The culprit shows to be Mail. No matter how little we use our devices...

Early 2011 13" MBP worth upgrading or should I look at retiring it?

My MBP has been all around the world with me. I maxed out the memory (8GB) and that's about it. It's kind of like a train. It can be slow to start, but once the momentum is up, it runs fine. Once its been idle overnight, it can take a couple of minutes for things to start running smooth...
