Posting from my iPhone. Cannot log into the forum using my mbp laptop. Using the same username (WW4B) and password as always. Downloaded the forum app and can log in using my iPhone. This issue started a few days ago. My can’t I log into using the laptop. I have no problems logging into any other of my favorite websites that require log in credentials. Any advice on what the issue could be.

Although logging in on a web browser sounds like a different issue I think it is part of the problem that chscag has commented on posted by pm-r. I can only say it's not the first time and I'm sure the admins and tech guys are working on it.

WW4B, I am as mystified as you on that. I'm replying to this on my MBP using Brave browser, I read your query on my iPhone so all seems normal to me apart from issues I have had posting images from the MBP recently. I'm sure it's all connected but just like the last time we had login issues it was not consistant across the board.

Thanks for the reply and update.
It seems I can read new posts only from the forum on my MBP. If I try to reply to or post a thread I get directed to a web page with a vbulletin msg stating I do not have permission to access this page because I am not logged in and asking me to either register, log into my account or my account has been disabled. If I try to log in I am taken to the forum home page without access of course. This holds true regardless of what browser I am using. Absolutely, as you have mentioned I am extremely mystified as to why I can access using the iPhone only. Thought it was an issue on my end with my MBP. Understand all is being worked on to resolve the issue...keep up the good work to all involved in the forum process.

@WW4B and Rod:

As stated, we are working to repair the errors that we are experiencing.

Here's what's happening:

1. If you have signed out of the forums (logged out) you will be unable to log back in.

2. New threads can not be started, however, if you're logged in, you can reply to old threads.

We ask that you be patient while we are working on getting things back to normal.

Thanks.

Yep, thats exactly how I've found it. As the old guy in Dad's Army used to say, "Don't panic". I know you guys will fix it as always, I only wish there was some way I could help.

When I try to edit my post just above, I also get a blank page when I click on "Save Changes" and the edit does not show up

I am able to log in now, too. I was locked out for a week, but tonight gave it a try and was able to log in and make a post. Maybe the problems are fixed?

Yes...site was just worked on Jake & WW4B. Initial testing indicates all of the major issues should have been taken care of.

@everyone. Please feel free to do some individual testing to confirm all is well.

Thanks,

All seems to be well, Nick. I can read, post, send PMs, answer PMs. Basically, the site seems to be working again! Thanks for all you do!

Great to hear Rod.:)

Please feel free to test like a "wild-man"...including all the various personal account settings...smiley's...attaching images to posts...anything you can think of.

If something is found to not be working as it should...we want to address it.

Mac-Forums Staff will be doing the same.:)

Thanks,

- Nick
