An idiot repairing a trackpad

Hi,

I'm the idiot! In a rush I've taken apart my MacBook pro 2015 (A1398)

Cleaned the trackpad, all working! However I can't remember where the metal bracket shown in the picture should go!


Help!

Check with iFixit: The Free Repair Manual to see if they are any help. They have numerous take apart instructions with picture details.

This is one of those times where having a digital camera comes in handy during the teardown. Great way to document where things go as you go along. Of course I always think of that after everything is back together and I have screws left over:)
