I own an older iMac running El Capitan.
My problem is that I cannot get the App Store to display any screen info (no Apps visible (just a white screen with the "A" App store logo in the centre)? In the top left corner there is an animated spinning dots on the menu bar. I have some updates ready for download, but cannot get the "Updates" button to display them.
I am signed in correctly and have several times force closed the store and re-opened it, but the spinning dots are still present and nothing can be accessed? So far I have waited over half an hour and still nothing loads?
Any idea how to fix this would be welcome!:'(

Problem solved! It took several re-starts, but App store now working again! Probably something in the App store module didn't load correctly the first time?

Thank you very much for posting back.. So important for others who might get a similar problem

Rebooting a Mac is one of the very first things we often recommend.
