Question What does this arrow-circle folder icon mean?
Anyone familiar with what this folder icon means?

    help.jpg

Appears to be some form of syncing taking place on this file (??), but I'm not sure what background program could be syncing this particular folder at this time.

(Note: macOS High Sierra; Version 10.13.6)

Is the sync arrows actually moving, indicating it is currently syncing? Where do you see this folder? Finder window? Desktop? Did it just appear, or did you just come across it?

Please backup. Everything has a life cycle, unexpected and warning free. Nothing will last as long as you want it to.

    Hi Bob,

The arrows are not moving. Folder is viewable in the Finder window. I just came across it while viewing other files. All other file icons in this folder are normal blue folders - this one just stuck out.

    Thanks!

Is it named? What is the entire path to that folder?

What's in the folder? I don't mean you to reveal personal info, just in general - files, photos, music, books etc

To show the path to that folder, as Bob suggests, in Finder > View > Show Path Bar

Then look at the bottom of the Window and it will show you something like this:

    S1.jpg

The blacked out part will be your name.
