A warm welcome to Mac-Forums. Nice to have you along.

First off, the latest version of iMovie is 10.1.9.

So, maybe I should ask you which Mac model you have (Notebook or Desktop) and what year and what is your current Operating System?

This makes a big difference in respect of the info we give you.

We can take it from there.

Hi.I have a MacBook Pro from 2010, running OS X 10.8.5.
it's a mess to find an iMovie version that can run on my Mac without problems , and together with a working iDVD version. this is why I am trying to use iMovie HD. any suggestion is welcome.
thanks.

Hi.
I was able to run iMovie HD and now I have my project ready. but the iDVD 08 that is on my MAC does not work with iMovie HD. When I share the project from iMovie HD to iDVD 08, the iDVD crashes. do you have a link to download iDVD 6 ? I think that should work.
thanks.

You can try for it. If this one works it's fine. Otherwise you have to find out another way.
