I'm assuming here that if I just transferred all the Mac SL files from my dead MacBookPro drive to the "B" drive of the Mac Pro wouldn't work? Not the correct drivers, etc?

That's right. No drivers would give you fits and very likely not work at all.

Oh well, it was a good try. Now if I can just find a guy with a Mac Pro running Snow Leopard with all the right drivers and get a copy to transfer.... I can dream right? Anyway thanks. It was worth trying.

Im sure I did everything right, followed Bootcamp directions, the problem I have now it does not accept my Windows key, I have the same Windoes on my PC, the key is a legit key and I am entering the numbers correctly (three times to be sure). Do not know where to go from here. Thanks,
Jim

Follow up,
I just installed Bootcamp as per instructions, all went well until I was asked to install Win 7 key, I did and it replied it was not recognized, now I have a partition for Win and cannot use it. The key was legit, in fact I had to re-install my Win7 with it last week. Any way to get rid of the Win partition or can it be used somehow? T.I.A.

Use the Boot Camp assistant to remove the Windows partition. See the instructions. If that doesn't work, post back and we'll show you another way.
