Just bought iMac and have used Windows for years so used to looking at Navigator, windows key plus E, to look at My Computer which I used all the time to create folders move files and general housekeeping. Question is does the iMac have a similar function?

Regards :Confused::Confused:

Here's a big tip that helped me acclimate to the Mac:

Command+Space opens Spotlight and directs your cursor to its prompt. From there, start typing the name of whatever you want and hit Return. It makes a very simple way to launch applications. You can also type a word to get a definition or type an equation to get a calculation. Very handy.

In addition to the fine advice you've been given, a gentle reminder: your experience with the Mac will be better (way better) if you remember that it's not Windows, doesn't work like Windows and really shouldn't be made to try and work like Windows. Check out Switch 101 (can't believe how many times today I've needed this link!) to help you "cross the bridge."
