Well I'm leaving for the united states from korea soon and I'm wondering i i can bring my mac on a plane? ( I will be flying economy class), and i had 6 tabs open ( they froze , i had iTunes and and a few other things open) The fans starting spinning really loud, then once the web pages unfroze the fans stopped spinning, was this normal? What happened?

Am I alone in wondering what the first part of your posting has to do with the second part?

Yes, you can take it on a plane. Typically security wants you to put the macbook in one bin by itself, and whatever you are carrying it with in another.

No i leave mine Sleeping like a baby when going through security, so i don't need to restart it wen I'm in my seat and want to watch my movie. If your in First Class i dare say they they will have charging points. Doubt it in economy ;)

On the 2nd part, i would reset Safari, clear the caches and see what happens. The fans are going bc something is boring it down and using a lot of resources to do what its trying to do.

Most airports have areas for you to plug into for charging, most airplanes do not. Also, Korea might use a different voltage/plugs than the US, so make sure you have the necessary converter/connector before plugging in your devices or risk harming them..

A recent Delta flight had an outlet under the seat in economy. I have flown quite a bit in the past, and that was the first time I have seen that. Usually no power onboard.
