Hi,

I have sim city 3000 for windows and want to be able to play this on my new mac computer.

I can not use the crossover program as it does not support sim city 3000 according to there website.

I have also tried installing windows xp on boot camp but this failed and it wouldn't boot.

I have ALSO tried using virtual computer software to install and run windows from within mac. This was really slow even though I have a brand new mac with more then enough resources to handle this.

So now I'm left we three options that do not work...... How do I get this to work painlessly!!!

Thanks

Apple tech helped me to install Windows Vista. It installed perfectly great the first time. I spent hours reloading programs, then I found out 70 gigabytes wasn't large enough, so I deleted Windows.

When I tried to install again, said there was some problem with the disk. Tech support told me how to use the disk maintenance software and it installed in again. I selected 70 gigabytes and am happy.

Right now I have Sims 1 and am really wanting Sims 3.

Also, when installing windows on a mac it fails a lot because people do not format the HDD correctly. Make sure that during the windows installation that you format the drive in NFTS (or something like that (not FAT32)).

Installing Windows 7 on my MacBook Pro took about 10 minutes. Couldn't have been easier.
