I have a macbook that i'm taking to england this summer, and i need to know what I need to convert the power so my laptop doesn't fry. thanks

Yes what mike said, we use a much higher voltage over here so id definally get a power surge adapter

You should be using a surge protector anyway. Power isn't exactly 'clean' in most residences in any country I've lived

normally things I've seen in airports are extremely overpriced.
