Help! want to buy used MacBook Pro but don't know who to trust.

Having had many disappointing experiences with laptop PCs I have decided to opt for a mac. However I can't really afford a brand new macbook pro. I have searched the internet, in obvious places like ebay, but you only save about £200, still being on the expensive side. There are other websites like gumtree etc. that I have found where people post adds selling macbook pros for quite cheap, but I don't know whether to trust them and the quality of merchandise.

If you have any advice or personal experience, please help.

try looking at apples refurbished section. they have some really good deals. The site is here its hit or miss so you need to check it often. hope this helps.

refurbs from apple are not that cheap problem with macs is they hold there value more than pcs great if you already own one
