Refurbished iPhones coming soon, dirt-cheap?

Rumor has it that refurbished iPhones are about to become available dirt cheap through the AT&T stores with new contracts. $199 for a refurbed 4Gb iPhone, $249 for the 8Gb version.

Refurbished iPhones have been around for a while. My cousin bought one a couple months back.

I'm sure they'll show up as long as Apple has to replace people's phones with new ones. They'll probably be few and far between and go quickly when they do show up. Back when I wanted to buy mine, I checked the refurbs daily for weeks before giving up and buying a new one.

Yah, but these apparently are lower-priced than normal, and only through the AT&T store. Speculation is that they are trying to clear them out for the next gen iPhones.

One of the refurbished models is probably the one I returned because I wanted the 16gig model
