Disabling effect of holding down cmd-key

Hey!

I am using a program where I need to hold the cmd-key for several seconds. Each time I do that a window of Security and Privacy comes up. I can't manage to find a way to disable it. Only to increase the time until the windows ups up. I got Sierra. Anyone got any clue?

The pop-up window is part of the Mac, not the program. It happens anytime, just that in this program I need to hold the cmd-button down. I checked the keyboard shortcuts section but found no shortcut only using the cmd-key. Where is it? I wonder

Do you have any background apps that could be hijacking the keyboard input?

Holding down the CMD key doesn't bring anything up for me, in any app and regardless of how long I keep it held down. You are potentially running some keyboard/snippet helper that is making that happen..

Thanks. I discovered it was a background app that I haven't been using in ages! Into the bin. Solved everything.
