Cannot download or change album artwork in iTunes 12.5.5.5

Help!

I'm using the latest version of iTunes (12.5.5.5) on a Windows 10 laptop. Some of my album artwork is missing, and I have been unable to download the artwork or manually add the artwork.

I've tried to download the artwork, with no success. I then went into the folder for a particular album and un-checked the "Read-Only" attribute for all songs in the folder, and re-ran iTunes to try to manually add a 500x500 pixel .jpg artwork picture - with no success.

Is there some hidden setting in iTunes and/or in Windows 10 that I need to change in order to install my artwork? Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Sorry, I don't do Windows, but do you have a Mac or access to one that you could try using and see if things worked better???

I tried that last night, with no luck. However, I tried it again just now, and it works! Perhaps iTunes and Windows 10 weren't playing nice last night, who knows.

Good news and I was about to suggest checking out some Windows 10/iTunes forums for a possible solution.
