- 24" IMAC with an M1 chip &16 GB Memory
I have been downloading photos from my camera and mobile phone to a folder I created on my desktop. I then transfer the photos to a travel drive for printing at the local CVS printer Kiosk. Today I opened the (read/write)travel drive which had OLD photos installed on it in and selected all of the old photos and moved them to the trash and then tried to install the NEW photos to the travel drive after I verified the travel drive was empty. I keep getting a message that there is not enough room to install ANY photos to the travel drive. I removed the travel drive and reinstalled it and tried again and got the same response. I am a recent convert from Windows to Mac and I am using an IMAC running OSX El Capitan version 10.11.6 with a 3.1 GH Intel Core I5 with 8 GB memory and Intel Iris pro graphics. I am certain it is something I did from my holdover days from Windows but I cannot figure this out. Any simple instructions would be appreciated.
