But apparently I don't haver permission to use the buy/sell/trade. Why not?

This is kind of a disappointment I'm unable to find any requirements for posting on that particular forum.

And I'm mildly annoyed that while a mod apparently had time to delete the topic I created on another forum (and kindly asked to have moved), but no time to answer my question or address my issue.

Before you get ticked off about your question, may I suggest that you read the rules Mac-Forums.com - Announcements in Forum : Buy/Sell/Trade, specifically "Only users with enough posts and an adequate period of time as a member here are able to post in this forum". You cannot post in Buy/Sell/Trade until you have sufficient posts on other issues. Stick around, read widely, contribute where you can, and be patient.

That's pretty vague. I think it should say as much when new members try to post there. People seldom read introductions to particular forums.

I needed to buy something by mid-month, so I won't be sticking around.

So we should do what because you choose not to read the clear information we have available to you?

Your topic was deleted because you were trying to circumvent the rules (which you apparently chose to ignore) by posting BST in a different forum and then asking for it to be moved. You knew you didn't have enough posts to use the BST forum and even stated that yourself in your attempt.
