Plex Hardware Accelerated H.264 Decoding on Plex
For anyone that uses Plex as a front end on a Mac mini will enjoy this! I tested it out today replacing my plex executable within the plex app, and playing a 1080p video @ 18mbps that used to take a good 150%+ cpu (1.5 core usage) now takes around 50% cpu (.5 core usage)!
Just thought anyone interested in hardware acceleration for video playback might find this of interest.
