Until this week I have never had a problem accessing my ebay account. I can log in but, when I try to go to sections (buying, selling, messages) I am taken back to sign in.

Has anybody else experienced this problem? If it can't be resolved the only solution seems to be to use Google Chrome.

I use Safari all the time for Ebay but have not tried doing much of late with Ebay. I will check here and get back to you.

What version of Mac OS are you running? Is Safari up to date?

Update. I just checked on my 2010 iMac with High Sierra and latest Safari and even bought a case for my new iPhone and only the initial logon required a password. Nothing after that.

It sounds like a setting issue somewhere?

Also, you’re going to need to provide more information about your Mac, and other security apps that may be affecting this? Anti-virus? Malware? Ad Blockers? Content Blockers? VPN?

I don't use ebay much but I also get this quirk to sometimes have to sign in again even though I was already signed in.

I just figured it was another ebay software glitch.

I have Mac OS 10.14.3; Safari 12.0.3; no anti-virus. How do I check for malware, ad blockers (I don't think so), VPN? Why can I access eBay options on my iPhone with the app and using Googlechrome on my iMac but not with Safari?
