Can I Extend My Display ??

hi guys I have a late 2009 iMac 27' with an i7 32GB ram

osx 10.13.6

and im wondering if I can extend my display to an Apple Cinema LED Display 27' also

I want to be able to use the screens side by side and share the video on both

Should work! Your iMac has the ability to mirror or extend the desktop to an external monitor via "a Mini DisplayPort, which supports an external display up to 30" (2560x1600). This model also "supports input from external DisplayPort sources" with adapters, so it can be used as an external display for DisplayPort-equipped devices as well as a computer." I shall fire the screen up tomorrow and see how it looks as I know they are the same size screen so extra work space is a bonus,
