I am currently using Microsoft Entourage as my primary email program. MS no longer supports this program and I am now getting messages that any new updates to Mac OS X 10.14.3 and I will no longer be able to use this program. Entourage is a 32 bit program and any new Mac OS updates will be 64 bit. Any suggestions on a new email program that will be compatible with the 64 bit OS?
Thanks for any assistance or suggestions you may have.
John....

The "Mail" program built into the macOS is already 64 bit and might meet your needs. It has support for mail rules, some spam filtering, and supports multiple accounts. It's all many users need in an email program. Microsoft's successor to Entourage is Outlook so that may be an option.

There are a host of other email programs out there but others will have to comment on them.

Too many to list. Mac Mail (free and included in macOS), Spark (free), Thunderbird (free), Outlook (part of O365), Postbox ($40), Airmail ($10 for Mac), and more that I can't think off the top of my head.

I'd also suggest giving the Apple-made Mail app a try, but of course there's also MS Outlook for Mac

Personally I have used Spark which is a nice program. I also use just the email app built into OS X. Spark does better for work as it has more sorting features. It is free (I think) in the app store

I switched to Thunderbird ages back and can't now remember why.

Thunderbird has always been a good choice since it's cross platform compatible and also includes an older style forum post and reply add on. The nice thing about Thunderbird is that it can be configured just about any way you desire - fonts, colors, menus, etc.
