I created my css folder and put my userChrome.css into it. Now I want to paste some code into it. I have some code in notes. How do I put that note on my desktop..and then can I drag it into my userChrome.css file?
I want to execute that code and see what it does if anything.

Not a coder so maybe I'm mmissing something here but would the following steps work:
1. Open the code you want in Notes or whatever else you want to use.
2. Select the relevant text and copy it to teh clipboard.
3. Paste it into the appropriate area of the Chrome css file.

Might be smart to make a copy of that file in case something goes wrong.

CSS is plain text. Just open the file in TextEdit and paste whatever you want in there.

CSS looks fine assuming that's the right hierarchy.

What is it you are trying to accomplish? Maybe there is a better, easier way than css.

I am on a Mac Air 2017 with Mojave. Firefox 65. the latest. The menu bars are ok size considering that the mac air is small.I adjusted the scale down one notch and thats as far as I would go because the text starts to degrade after that. This is not a retina screen. My only complaint is the font on the bookmarks toolbar is absurdly tiny.
There used to be a Firefox add on that would fix that but it doesnt work in 65. Stupid of Mozilla. Again.
One thing...when I paste some code into my userchrome file it changes it slightly when I save it. I put in 20px but it saves it as 20pxA.??
Maybe I have to go back to Firefox 57 or so.How do I do that btw...?

I don't use Firefox, for many reasons. Maybe a FF user can help.

Does not the normal changing the displayed text size work for you???
ie: How to Increase the Text Size on Your Mac
https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/increase-text-size-mac

And I believe some reading or computer glasses have been mentioned and suggested several times in some of your other related posts.

PS: There's a Safari plugin extension for enlarging the status bar so there's probably one for FF as well. Try googling.

And/Or try this:
https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1186162

or maybe some of these:
https://www.google.com/search?q=mac...57j69i64l3.15151j0j4&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

EDIT:
BTW: Have a look at this:

the normal way increases all the fonts at the expense of clarity. Poor option. Apple needs to do some work.
