iMovie audio nudging

I'm having trouble moving my external audio file in iMovie in small enough increments to line up perfectly with my video clip. Kind of maddening.

Just be aware that the "Nudging audio in very small increments" in the above link refers to iMovie v9, not the current version which is v10.

I have tried hunting for a way to do it in iMovie. I know how I do it in Premiere Pro but I can not find a key combo that allows you to jog audio one frame at a time. From all that I have read you have to open up the timeline and move it one frame at a time. That seems so ridiculous to me. Oh and FYI - I have iMovie 10.1.10
