Good afternoon...

I'm new here, so forgive my ignorance.

I have a new 2014 Mac Mini. I have it hooked up to a Vizio HD TV. This morning, I tried to increase the font size and changed the display settings from default to scaled. Once the computer went to sleep, it wouldn't wake-up any longer. I have a blank screen. I now have a paperweight.

How can I reset the machine back to factory or reset the display back to default if I can't even see the display?

Any assistance is GREATLY appreciated.

Thank you,
Doug

You can try booting into safe mode which might get things to work in a sane way. You do that by holding down SHIFT while powering on the machine. It is strange that just a font change (especially when supported by the TV) it would fail to boot.

Maybe even a PRAM reset would get it back to usable mode.

From a cold boot, press and hold the command+option+P+R keys until it sounds and/or restarts three times.
