PS: I think I might even give the Pro version a try, $10.00 won't break my bank.

It seems that it was the v. 5.0 "EtreCheckPro" version that I did run, but now if I want to expand it further it will cost $23.00.

And going back and running v. 4.1 again it seems it's "Free" for running it five times maximum!!!! Maybe YMMV... but not for me...

Curious. I have never seen that, ever. I'm running 5.1, the latest update. Maybe they just hate you, Patrick. I'd take it personally if I were you. ;D

Besides that strangeness, I was quite surprised, especially their recommendation for new users to just use the EtreCheck that seems to only be available from the App Store, as to the limitations and removal of some features.

What’s the difference between EtreCheck and EtreCheckPro?

Check out the features or lack of here, especially for the App Store version of EtreCheck:
https://etrecheck.com/maspro

That's rather discouraging and disappointing to me, and that includes Apple's "guidelines" and limitations as well.

Hey Patrick... maybe the developer of EtreCheck was in your MUG along with you know who. LOL

BTW, the developer is a fellow Canadian.

Almost LOL Charlie.

Actually, I have to admit that similar thoughts crossed my mind and as a Canadian developer, they could and should do better IMHO.
