How to reply to a thread?

It means your reply was too short. Sometimes folks reply to a message with a short "yes" or "no". The system will reject those because of their length. It could also mean that you did not enter the reply properly and the system thinks your message is too short. Try again.

If your entire answer is "yes" or "no" then simply add an ellipsis to it to make it at least 5 characters (e.g. "yes..."). It's also important to note that any quoted text in your reply does not count towards the 5 characters.
