As for your other question Patrick, the time stamp is generated from your time zone and appears differently for each member according to their own time zone. Is that what you're referring to?

Also, in addition to what Nick posted about the 24 hour time limit on editing one's own posts, I believe if you sign out of the forums and then back in, you lose the ability to edit. However, I may be mistaken about that since it's been ages since I tried that as a non staff member. Try it and let us know Patrick.

Gee, another detail I hadn't thought of — the different time zones, and what time and timestamp is used for what and when.

I think I'll just try and not have to edit and save any confusion. :\

I noticed the recurring thread issue the other day. I viewed one thread three times, and then I replied to it, after that it disappeared from the “New Posts” list. Yesterday, the thread reappeared, and when I went to view it, there was another post, in between the last post, that I viewed and replied after, and my reply. So, I assumed it had something to do with that other user, having the site still open, maybe?

In case anyone tried to access the website within the previous 2 hours of the posting of this message...it was down. A BIG apology to everyone. The hosting company was doing something on the site...and brought it down. The site should be up & running now.:)

Thanks

What would that FB site's URL be Ian???

I just end up at some old FB mac-forums page with very old messages, so obviously not the correct page.
