A friend recently sent me a drive with some music on it that is formatted MS-DOS (FAT16). How can I go about opening and viewing? The file permissions in the info. box says "read and write." Also, when I open the file, it appears nothing is in it, but it does read that 244 MB have been used.

Thank you in advance for any direction. =)

If you hook it up externally does the drive appear in Disk Utility? It should however the main problem will be transferring files larger than 4GB. 244MB does not sound much at all unless it is a very limited piece of music.
