Just today I've received at least 35 emails from Apple Support on various topics. Odd. I haven't been to Apple Support for years. Anybody else getting these?

Not sure of the right forum.

Thanks.

Moved your post to here as it's really not a Switcher Topic. It's actually more closely related to Security.

Okay.... first, are you certain those emails are from Apple? It sure sounds suspicious to me. And, whatever you do, do not reply to any of them if they request it.

If you have any doubts as to the validity of those emails, contact Apple directly and ask.

I got these as well today and in a similar quantity. I read one or two of them without following the links. At least one of them was from a user suggesting that something had gone nuts with emails. This is the second time I've had this happen within the last several months.

For those of you that haven't seen this issue, the emails are the kind that one gets if you have participated in one of the threads in the Apple Discussion Boards. I didn't even boother to try and decide whether the emails were legit or not.

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one. They seem to have stopped now. Yes, they seemed to be the kind you get when people reply to questions you have posted, but I haven't posted any for eons.

AND, oddly too, I haven't received notice of the replies from here. Just came to site to check.

I didn't receive them and I frequently answers questions on Apple Support Communities.

I received a message requiring me to change my password as it hadn't been changed for 885 days. I have changed it but I then got a message saying that I had3 viruses and could see that I had been diverted away from the Forum. Could this be similar to other people's problems with suspicious messages?
