Adding apps to "Location" service on MBP.

Dear cheddar-caveman, it's interesting to see that there may be people out there who aren't familiar with native apps like Find My iPhone. Its been around for so long. It's accessed by logging onto the iCloud site (https://www.icloud.com/#find) and allows me to trace both my and my wife's devices, a total of 6, but there is no limit.
It can be sdisplayed in three formats, this is the satellite view. On your iPhone you will find it as the Find iPhone app and is usually switched on by default. To disable it you will need to enter your Apple ID in Settings.

The “Find My Device” is located within the iCloud options is Setting/System Preferences. Just turn it on, and you’re all set. You will only need internet access, to log into iCloud.com to activate “Find My ????”. Same as Prey.

Dear Rod. So have I! At 80 it takes a little bit longer to come to grips with todays technology!

Hmmm…??? I'm a bit surprised that you discovered and used Prey before you just discovered the same thing that exists on your iDevice.

PS: No offense, but maybe download and go through Apple's iPhone User's Guide manual. Lots of neat and interesting stuff in it and more interesting than most manuals that maybe just sit in the car glovebox.
