Oy, I don't want to think about it...but, let's see.

Yep, about six grand. That would be in the form of two PPC Mac Minis, two Macbooks (mine with AppleCare), three iPod Shuffles (two 1st gen, one 2nd gen), two iPod Nanos (one 1st gen 1gig, one 2nd gen 4gig), two 5G 30gig iPod Videos, bluetooth Apple wireless keyboard & mouse, an extra power brick for a Macbook (lost during a hospital stay), and misc taxes, license, dealer fees. Oh yeah, I upgraded one of those Minis with Tiger, so that's an extra $129, and there was a battery upgrade program for an iPod Mini I got as a gift where the battery died out of warrantee, about $90. Tack on a memory upgrade for my Macbook for $90.
This over the course of 2.5 years.
About the only thing remaining will be AppleCare for my wife's Macbook, and I plan on upgrading at least one (mine) to Leopard when the time comes, if there are no show-stoppers (Parallels, NeoOffice.) I don't think my wife will care about Leopard; I'm looking forward to Spaces.
Actually, that's not really all that bad considering I'm buying Apple products for two.
The Shuffles were all gifts to my parents.
