Anyone else really enjoying this year's race?

I think it's been the best edition for years. Attacking racing, really tough stages, little in the way of time-trialling and to round it off controversy with today's stage getting cancelled before the finish.

As a former (strictly amateur!) bike racer it's been a revelation and really enjoyable.

There must not be an American contender. I hadn't even heard that it's happening now. I do catch a little bit of SportsCenter on TV just about everyday, too. Have you ever gone to watch a TdF race in person?

nope never been to watch it at the roadside - never appealed to me either

I wish I'd been good enough to ride it though!
