If you could go back and be any age you want for a month, what would you choose?

Of course if you want...include why as well.:)

Thanks,

- Nick

I think I would choose something around age 28-30. At this age you're somewhat life-experienced...and at the same time...everything is still "working" pretty close to 100%! Lol

Yabut, are you assuming that the technology advances in the interim would be available?

I would choose 40 years old.

Why? My career was settled; my experience of life & work and the world, reasonably well balanced.

But at 40, you know there is much ahead to be learned and experienced. It's a pivotal point. There is still a future; viable, exciting, uncharted.

I'd probably go back to about 35 or so. This assumes that I get to keep all the tech innovations and other changes that have occurred in the last 20 or so years.

18 with no hesitation

I'd make a different career / education choice, possibly even concentrated on my cycling more and tried to turn pro (at the height of the doping era I know but...)

And with any luck I wouldn't have got myeloma!!

Dang Nick, this is a tough one.......

Not to bring the room down, but I would go back to 47 to see my mom again. She went too young, and I wish I could have had more time with her at the end.

I was going to say that too, she passed in ‘79, when I was 11. It was basically the end of my childhood, as everything after that was much harder, and I didn’t want to deal with it. Yes, a lot of things would have changed, if I had more time with my mom around.

I would start high school over and go to the carpenter/woodworking training school I wanted to attend but coming from a family of laborers they wanted something more for me (Senator Corleone) lol.

Don't forget...the question mentions that this "transformation" is only for 30 days (1 month). It's also not really supposed to be a "time machine" where you go back in time to visit a time & place at a specific age...you're mostly thinking about if you could be ANY age for 30 days...what age would it be.:)

I think the idea is...if you could be ANY age (right now...today...this moment...May, 2019)...what age would that be? I think the question is focusing on...what age in your life so far has been the most fun...most rewarding...most satisfying...most physically fit...etc. Then you choose that age & live it again for 30 days.:)

Here's another way of looking at the question. Today is May 2nd, 2019. If you went to sleep tonight...and woke up tomorrow morning (May 3rd, 2019)...if you could wake up & be ANY age for 30 days...what age would that be?

- Nick

p.s. No Time Machines...at least not with this question.;)

Hmmm... I think someone's already in some sort of time zone, especially when I see the post date is "Today, 06:02 AM" and my iMac is saying today is May 3rd, 2019 20019!!! That should make my tomorrow will be May 4, 2019.

I just don't want to see somebody getting caught in some black hole and getting pulled back or ahead in time!!!

Maybe someone can help confirm my timestamp here!! Currently, Friday May 3rd, 2019. 3:34pm PDT.

That's easy - 24. I had just gotten married to my one and only. I was a bicycling fool, had just lost my last 5 pounds, and was in the best physical shape of my life.

What would be sweet is when the thirty days were up I would get to keep my younger body!!!!

21. That was when a big change happened in my life. Before then I was heading down a dangerous road shall I say. All changed that year I was 21.

A few hear might figure out what I mean.

What, for ONLY A MONTH ? Aww, that's not enough !
Hang on, do you mean go back to when I was 16, still living with my parents and going to High School or do you mean I could be 16 today?

No time machines (at least not with this question).;) Think of the choice as if the age you pick would start tomorrow...and last for 30 days.:)
