Had my MBP serviced for the anti-reflective delam. Got it back and noticed the battery was really draining fast. About 2x normal.

For a day I was really concerned that something had happened to it.

But then I realized...oh wait, it's Thanksgiving break and I've spent most of my waking hours working on Scratch projects with my daughter. Scratch is MIT's on-line code development platform for kids.

Scratch is Adobe Flash-based.

Didn't work on Scratch yesterday and battery performance was just fine. Steve was right...;P

Nice story. A useful reminder that we often forget just how much we may be pushing the Mac....and its battery.

I think the morale of that story is, avoid Flash at all costs.
