Hi Ron - use the 'Multi-quote icon' (far bottom right - see pic below) - place a check mark by the posts you want to quote - for the last post just click 'Reply With Quote' - all should then appear in your reply - give it a try and let us know - Dave :)

I did this one by clicking the "" I'm #5, then your #6 and then click the "Reply With Quote" box to get what's above this.

Then start typing what I wanted to add here.
Next will be to click the "Post Quick Reply" box.

I hope that helps explain things.

PS: you can edit/delete anything you don't want by doing so on the text between the first "
" of the quoted posts.

Hi again Ron - just to check my own multi-quote skills - ;) I put a check on the 'Multi-Quote' icon for the first 3 posts above (just chosen randomly), then I clicked 'Reply With Quote' on your last post (the 4th above) - seems to work fine. Dave :)

P.S. note that you can go into any of the quoted posts to edit, e.g. shortening AND between the quotes if you want to personalize your responses to each one (as shown in your OP).

And if you want to break a long quoted post into multiple sections, select "Reply With Quote" and then click the Go Advanced button. At the top of the resulting edit window will be the entire quote, starting with "
<name>; <message number> said:
" as the header. Then at the end will be a "
to end the quoted section. (NOTE: In both of those I have inserted an extra space in front of the "]" to prevent it being activated here. Don't do that as the actual command is all closed up, no spaces before the closing "]".
P.S. note that you can go into any of the quoted posts to edit, e.g. shortening AND between the quotes if you want to personalize your responses to each one (as shown in your OP).

Now start at the top and find where you want to break the message to insert something and enter the "[/QUOTE" command, then after that type your comment and at the end put in [QUOTE to start quoting again. Continue until all is done the way you want. Check it with Preview Post until you are happy and then Submit Reply.
