I'll just assume that this is also a belated Happy Canada Day as well because you wouldn't want to forget that now would you? ;)

Thanks! It's going to be a hot one here. I'm going to try grilling on the hood of my Jeep.

If you guys could just shift your holidays a few days here and there I'd remember. The fact they would coincide with ours is a bonus. :Mischievous:

I pre-did a pork butt. BBQ'd it and then slow roasted at 225 deg F. Just finished shredding and bagging the meat for sandwiches later. :)

Too many...
Happy 4th everyone! I'm going to especially enjoy this one at the new house. We actually have a direct view of the park's sky where they will be having the fireworks show.

Oh yeah....also got some baby back ribs slowly getting smoked.

Happy 4th everyone! I'm going to especially enjoy this one at the new house. We actually have a direct view of the park's sky where they will be having the fireworks show.

They do them here on the 3rd over Lake Michigan from 3 barges just off shore downtown. We went to our son's apartment building, as there is a direct view from the roof. Being 9 floors up was a little too high to see over the people crowded onto the deck for the low fireworks, but we could still see them by standing up on the bench at the perimeter. The view of the ones shot high into the sky was perfect! No trees that tall, and no taller buildings between us and the show. It was great! Went on for almost an hour.
