So who out there is a Tour Tragic ??
I am. I get many nights of sleeplessness which doesn't bother me because of insomnia. I hate riding bikes and have absolutely nothing to do with them, but i love to watch the athleticism of these guys. The gust and determination they have to get up every morning and push there bodies through pain and more pain.
I was bought to the Tour from a gent we all know. . . . . . The Great Lance Armstrong.
When he quit the tour because of his Cancer and then came back to win was the most amazing feat, and the book he wrote about his Cancer Battle and the fight he took to it was nothing but inspirational. I read the book and passed it onto my mum, herself dying of Cancer , and fighting it for the past 17yrs. I do believe that it was part in Lances words in the book that gave her the ability to fight it for a few more years. She to this day still quotes some of what Lance said in his book
Anyways back to the Tour.
Skoda/SBS has made yet another amazing App for it App Store - SBS Tour de France Skoda Tour Tracker 2012.
It will be a minute by minute update within the App if you can't get to see it on the box, but as it stands its only been the first day of riding with the first Stage the Paris Sprint.
