I am a retired ESL instructor who has an interest in music. I also play the ukulele ( badly I must add ).
Was this something you did in Windsor...or did you teach ESL in countries in other parts of the world? If so...Mac-Forums has a pretty good Worldly membership. Maybe you taught ESL somewhere where some Mac-Forums members currently reside.:)

Of course we have lots of Canadian members too...you're in very good company!:)

Hi Nick, if I may, I taught in Windsor...it was actually my second career. Prior I worked in the financial staff of a large company who shall remain nameless.

Didn't you used to live somewhere where French was spoken? You may have needed some "FSL" classes back then (French as a Second Language)! Ha Ha!;)

Thanx Groove… say I tried a really great coffee this morning, it was by Fosters and was a banana flavoured coffee….and it was really nice, not overpowering at all.

May have needed! Définitivement et maintenant je parle français comme une vache espagnole.

Blimey? Bananana coffee? Errrr? I do believe that I would give that one a miss and stick to our black filter coffee without sugar.

The sugar isn't needed as I am sweet enough. Well I think so anyway :a:a

Not to be a "stick in the mud".;) But if we're going to do some extended chatting...we should probably start a new thread in the Off-Topic" area. All great stuff...but don't want to clog up the Intro Thread.:)

Thanks:)

Hello all. I’m Rp from Windsor. I am a retired ESL instructor who has an interest in music. I also play the ukulele ( badly I must add ).
No matter how badly you play you are far better at it than I am. My musical talents are limited to whaat can be done with iTunes/Music.

Welcome aboard.
