Not really enough information to help you with. However, you can always run Windows using Boot Camp (dual boot) and then you can run your web service with IE.

And Welcome to our forums.

Welcome to Mac-Forums

Please visit the MS Free VM page which has virtual machines created by Microsoft from IE8 to Edge on Win 7, Win 8 and Win10 for a variety of virtualization software including VirtualBox. These are time limited versions (I think 30 days) so you are do your tests. That way to get around the time limit is to run the VM in VirtualBox and then immediately Snapshot the first run. Make a note indicating it's the 1st day of operation. Now do you testing and once you reach whatever the time limit is, just reset back to the 1st snapshot and you can continue using the VM.

These VMs should be used primarily test website/services with IE, do NOT use it as a regular Windows installation replacement. You'll want to take the appropriate precautions if you connect this VM to the Internet (like anti-virus software and so on).

Internet Explorer is a Windows browser that is only available on Windows. Similarly, Safari is a browser only available on macOS/OS X. Chrome, Firefox, Brave, Opera (to name a few) are browsers that work the big 3 OS' (Windows, Mac and Linux).

Whoa, thanks for the update Harry. When developing sites it is imperative to test on all browsers. Since Mac is my preferred platform, I go the VM route to test IE but when others on Windows machine wanted to test on Safari, I had to do it for them.
