New to the Forum and the world of Macs.
Tried to install Windows 7 via Bootcamp – but speaking to Apple following problems they advised I needed to buy a NEW copy to make that work.
I think I prefer the VM route – so – question is with Virtual Box, VM Fusion or Parallels – do I still need to buy a new clean copy of Windows 7?
Main reason for needing Win7 is to be able to play some older PC games right now with possible new versions in future as well as use some more familiar PC software that doesnt seem to have an equivalent for the Mac.
Will be grateful for thoughts and advice – will ask about merits of which VM software another time!
Many thanks

Regardless if which way you go you need a copy of Windows 7 which is not installed on any computer as activation is required immediately on set up. The best gaming option is via Bootcamp.
