Sun has a free/open virtual machine software - let's you run any OS in a window! I'm trying Kubuntu Jaunty (alpha) with it and it looks awesome with kde 4.2.1.

I have read a review at it seems good, Not as extensive as Parallels or Fusion, but not at all bad, especially since its free

I use it and it works well with the basics. There are features not available to it though and the Mac port is still not as polished as Fusion/Parallels.

Now, this topic is covered extensively. If you wish to get some more info, I suggest you search for VirtualBox or bettery yet, Fusion or Parallels.
