Apple has released a new version of its macOS Catalina Supplemental Update. The first iteration of the update was made available to Macs running Catalina on October 15.
Like last week's update, of which this is apparently a new version, this Supplemental Update promises to fix problems some users encountered when there was limited disk space available. It also fixes issues with saving Game Center data that users faced when playing Apple Arcade games offline, a Setup Assistant bug, and a problem that prevented users from being able to accept iCloud terms when logged into multiple iCloud accounts on the same machine.
If you prefer to hear things in Apple's own words, here are the release notes provided by the company to accompany the update:

Mine either, All I see at this point is a notice about a new beta which has been there for a few days, I won't install ut till I have a good CCC clone. For whatever reason, I've had trouble doing that under both Mojave and Catalina.

Did both of you read my post on this same subject in the Mac OS forum?

If no one is going to check our forum posts first, I will stop providing these messages.

I read it. My comment above was mainly in reference to the fact that the update hadn't appeared for him.

Why would I look for another post not visible in new posts on a notification that was only posted an hour before? This post was second from the top when I opened New Posts, I checked on my computer and it wasn't there, so I commented. Is there something wrong with that? Do you seriously expect that I or anybody else is going to do a search on every topic they read in order to make sure something similar has not been posted already?

You might also take into account that I am using the mobile app. I only see 3 posts on my screen at a time and if it's just been posted I do not scroll down what turns out to be 12 posts to see if someone else has already posted on the topic. As far as I can see accidentally double posting does not contravene any of the posting regulations of this site so publicly reprimanding me is not the role of an admin. That's what PM's are for.

No one was reprimanding you. So I apologize if it appeared that way. All we are asking is that you check what has already been posted.

We try to keep abreast of all updates so we can inform the forums as soon as they are published. It doesn't help to duplicate the effort.

Our forum Bot will sometimes post what we have already posted but that can't be helped because that's the way the forum software works.

The Mac-Forums iOS app will show unread messages so I'm not sure what that has to do with the number of messages you can view? Can't you view them one at a time?

Well I guess it's no big deal. On the iPhone app I like to check what's been posted o/night (o/night for me that is) while having my morning coffee. I use the "Timeline" view because that shows me the most recent posts. I can see three posts without scrolling, the fist one was from the RSS feed about the supplemental update so I checked my laptop to see if it were there because I was going out early and thought I'd let it run while I was gone. Software update said I was up to date so I made the reply with the intention of letting others know that it might not show up on their device yet either, no more. It was, after all not a new post, just a reply.

Thanks Rod.

Something that I should have pointed out but forgot... (sign of old age perhaps). Not everyone subscribes to the RSS or OneMoreThing feeds, therefore it's important that we try to keep everyone up to date which is why that sometimes those notices will be duplicated.

It's not a big deal if you dupe a post and from now on I will just try to merge them together into one. That should keep both of us happy. :)

Thanks for your participation. We appreciate it.

Your welcome Chas, I apologise if I was a bit narky I also forgot that not everyone gets the RSS feed.
