If you're debating whether or not to make the shift to Catalina give this a quick read. You don't have to be a serious tech head to understand it.

You're right Sly. That's quite a few changes that I wasn't aware of. I'm wondering now how the various utilities (NTFS, Data Rescue, Disk Warrior, etc) are going to continue to operate? CCC seems to be making adjustments with their beta versions (I'm on their beta program) but can't say the same for others.

I'm wondering the same thing Charle. I must admit though I'm using fewer of those utilities every year. I have Disk Drill, Data Rescue and NTFS (among others) but haven't run most of them in quite a while except for Disk Drill. The versions I have are older and I'm sure they would need to be updated before I used them.

I was pleasantly surprised to see how quickly CCC seems to be adapting to the change. I need to do some drive cleanup before I can run a Catalina clone though.
