Looks like there have been a few site issues as of late:

- Issue with the "My Posts" link.
- Issue with the "Unanswered" threads link.
- Clicking on "Settings"...and then clicking on "General Settings"....and getting some code.

With both of the "My Posts" & "Unanswered" threads links eventually we were getting an error message when clicking on a thread in the list of threads that was presented. These two issues have been corrected & should be operational now.:)

As far as the "Settings" then "General Settings" issue. Still investigating this one.

Apologies for the inconvenience...thanks for your patience.:)

Hello all. Pleased to announce that the "Settings" then "General Settings" error issue has been resolved. If you click on this series of two links ("Settings" then "General Settings")...you should now have no problems accessing these account features.:)

Again apologies & thanks for being patient.:)

I'm getting 404 errors on just about every emailed link for replies to threads. I can go to the site and get to the thread, but the links in the email are all ending up 404. Started a couple of days ago.

Thanks Jake. A couple other members have reported this as well. Looking into it.

Thanks Jake. Just made a tweak. Maybe previous links in those emails still don't work...but new email links going forward are ok.

Thanks,

Nick

Thanks much Jake.:)

Regarding the two emails you mentiioned above. Made the tweak after the first email (the Better Alternative to Spotlight)...and before the most recent posts I made in this thread. It seems that email links before the tweak will still get the 404 error...and email links after the tweak are working normally.:)

Thanks for the help...and apologies for the inconvenience.

Made some tweaks & have heard back from a few members. Looks like the issue regarding thread subscription email notifications & the link not working has been resolved.:)

Thanks to all for the help...and apologies for the issue.

The email with thread updates have links. The links led to the 404's. However, the link to this thread when krs posted worked, so maybe it's fixed?

Thanks very much for the feedback guys...it really helps.:)

FYI...these aren't "willy-nilly" random errors. Trying to do some things to improve the site...and sometimes there are some speed-bumps along the way.

You mean you don't have a magic wand that fixes things immediately.:rofl If I find one I'll send it to you ASAP.

Thanks for all the hard work.

I actually think he does - I have never seen the admin on any forum fix things as quickly as here - most impressive and much appreciated.

Got logged out and forced to change my password.

Having done so, I just get kicked out every time I refresh or try to open a post when in Firefox. This is using my new password.

Fortunately, it seems to work in Chrome (at present).
