None of my Apple devices have been able to add a printer which they all have done perfectly well for years. As I retrace my steps all I can come up with is 1) lost wifi connection but reinstated by unplugging and resetting 2) Installed a ssd drive via USB which became my startup drive, 3) reinstalled new OS, same as old MacOS but a clean install of Mojave. What happenned? My Canon Pro 100 and Epson 610XP have always been reliable and now cannot be found. Anyone have a clue? I hve reset the printer settings too many time to mention it.

After updating operating systems, it's possible you need new printer drivers to keep up.

A bit more information of your setup would certainly help with suggestions.

Or try some of the google hits from here:
Epson 610XP Canon Pro 100 with Mojave not found
Epson 610XP Canon Pro 100 with Mojave not found - Google Search

Hmmm...??? Rather a long-delayed reply but I'm glad the suggestions work, but I'm surprised that changing an ink cartridge would get the printer to be recognized. That's a bit unusual, add shouldn't be necessary.

Anyway, glad to hear it's working, and lots of ink cartridge suppliers around to choose from.

@printoxe
Even if your post was a mild form of advertising I took a peek as I will soon be needing a set of ink cartridges for my Canon PIXMA MX 922 AIO and the Canon PGI 250 & CLI 251 set would work.

But can you confirm that they are XL cartridges, but they seem to be from the specs you supply:
Canon PGI-250 & CLI-251 Compatible Ink Cartridges /Without Grey
3 Sets of Premium Ink Cartridges Compatible with Canon PGI 250 & CLI 251 ; 3 Large Black (24ML Each) and 3 Small Black, 3 Cyan, 3 Magenta, 3 Yellow (Each 13ML).
[bold mine]

I am not sure of what the normal millilitre amount is for regular ink cartridges for this printer, nor for the XL cartridges.

Also, your site seems to be one of the few that I've come across that give a more realistic and accurate yield count rather than the exaggerated unrealistic yield most other sites do, if they even include the info.

By the way: I was also pleasantly surprised that shipping was free to my area. Nice.

You may be seeing an order from me shortly depending on your reply.

You can PM if you prefer, but some other members might be interested in the info as well.

Thanks,

- Patrick
