    Alternatives to the Mighty Mouse?
I need a touch mouse for audio and film editing. I don't love the ergonomics of the Mighty Mouse 2. Anyone have suggestions for alternatives?

    Thanks....

Are you referring to the Magic Mouse 2? Not the Mighty Mouse?

Shoot, I wanted to add this to my reply above, have you thought about a TrackPad instead?

Is he the little guy, all muscles with the red cape, Bob? I hear he is addicted to cheese.

Agree about the Magic Trackpad. Larger than the original and is rechargeable via a TB cable.
Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

    Correct. Thanks for the note.

I do some video and audio editing that's really precise and I've been told it's hard to do that with the trackpad, so I'm hoping to find a mouse.

Kensington? Not cheap, wired, but a colleague of mine swears by one, after bringing it back to NZ from the US for his music editing work. See here https://eshop.macsales.com/item/Kensington/64325/ Oops, forgot this bit; despite my recommending a Kensington trackball, fingers are much more manoeuvrable than arms, so a simple wired USB mouse may prove more effective than fancy i-r tracking, wireless devices.

That is one main reason as to why using a good quality mouse pad can make such a difference, especially when using a high-resolution mouse.
